The Dessie Escarpment offers one of the most dramatic panoramic views in South Wollo. Perched at over 2,500 meters, the escarpment drops steeply into the lowlands below, creating breathtaking vistas especially at sunrise and sunset.
The area is popular for photography, hiking, and paragliding. Local guides can take you along ridge trails that offer ever-changing perspectives of the rugged landscape.
